CITYFOOD UW Hosts Global Sustainability Scholars

The University of Washington CITYFOOD team was happy to host nine Global Sustainability Scholars and two Global Sustainability Fellows from various higher-education institutions around the United States in the beginning of summer 2019. In four days, the group got to explore the Food-Water-Energy nexus around Seattle through visits with subject matter experts, ranging from a salmon hatchery to an industrial-scale food distribution center. CITYFOOD would like to thank the following organizations around the Puget Sound area for making this experience insightful and memorable:

Friends of the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery
